Topic:- How to write molecular formula in chemistry?
Introduction:-
Teaching is one of profession of the world that should be effective and relevant according to time. The theoretical and practical norms are very important terms in the education. Teaching is affected by several factors that should treat then our teaching profession becomes effective in class. Teaching should conduct according to need and interest of the student. The psychological and pedagogical views are the essential sector of the teaching. I have involving in teaching profession since 2059 Bs. In that time, I have been faced several problems that dispatch low educational achievement in science subject in my school. I have feel difficulty to teach to write molecular formula to the student. I have several practices to write molecular formula to the student in class nine but they feel also difficult to write So, I have selected this topic for the action research.
Statement of problem:-
Students couldn't write molecular formula in class nine
Identification of problem:-
Most of the student are unable to write molecular formula in chemistry science that creates the students were going to failed in chemistry So, I have been tried to solve this problem in my classroom . I hope that this action research helps to solve this problem.
Objectives of Research:- The main objectives of this action research are as follows:
- To write molecular formula in chemistry.
- To constructs structure of an atom.
- To create educational environment in class room
- To increase educational achievement in science subject.
Possible causes of problem:-
- Lack of practice
- Lack of student centered approach
- Lack of management of class room
- No use suitable method to understand
Alternative method of Solution:-
- Repeating of lesson
- Use of student centered method
- Use of periodic table
- Group discussion
- Use of proper valance table

- Hot chair technique
- Self learning approach
Research design:- Both qualitative and quantitative
Sample selection:- 36 students of Class nine
Time period:- 15 days
Step of research (Research procedure):-
First cyclic:- I have been followed following the steps Plan, Action Observation and Reflection.

B)Action:- In this action research, I have been implemented following activities
- I have divided the whole students into five groups that help to become active to the students and Select one one/one group leader from each group. The problem of molecular formula is given in each group and they are tried to solve with the help of group leader.
- I have given homework as well as class work to each student to constructs the valance table with the help of text book. I have informed the students to read this table time to time.
- Apply satellite technique in each group to learn and write molecular formula
- Use of hot chair method in each group
- Play gaming to write molecular formula from periodic table in each group
- Apply quiz context in classroom to understand about molecular formula.
C.Observation:-
At last period of research, I have organized test program to write molecular formula in chemistry, most of the students are able to write molecular formula easily but only few are unable. From these above activities, i hope that students are going to be able to write molecular formula correctly. The record of students is recorded with the help of checklist, observation form and note diary.
D)Reflection:-
Most of the students are improve to write molecular formula. During 15 days, the students are active to learn and curious to write molecular formula. Due to grouping system, the student didn't feel hesitate to learn. The students have developed creativity. The result is better to improve for writing molecular formula. Therefore, I have satisfied from my research.
Results and achievements:-
- The students are able to write molecular formula correctly.
- The students centered approach is better to teach and learn to student.
Presentation and dissemination:-
This action research has presented among the teaching staffs, SMC and student and provides suitable feedback and also I realized that this research may provide effective to learn and teach molecular formula in secondary level easily.
