Teaching Item: Listening

Specific Objective: students will be able to do the exercise based on listening text....

Instructional Materials: Cut out pictures

Teaching learning activities:

1.Pre-Listening:

The teacher motivates the students by showing the picture and asking some questions based on the cutout pictures. e.g.

• Who are these people?

• What are they doing?

• How are they communicating?

• What are they talking about?

2.While- Listening: The teacher instructs the students that they are going to listen the listening text through the audio device. the teacher writes questions on the board with instruction. e.g.

• Listen to the conversation and match the expressions under column 'A' with the right ones under column 'B'.

Ankita and Amrit                     gives a call

After that the teacher plays the audio text and tells them to listen and do the task.

When they finish, the teacher again provides another set of question related to fill in the blanks. Plays the audio text and asks them to do the task.

3.Post- Listening: The teacher asks the students to summarize the audio text.
