1.Specific Objectives: After the completion of this lesson, students will be able to:

 

• Read the first 4 paragraph in normal order with correct pronunciation.

 

• Answer few questions based on the given passage.

 

 

2.Teaching Materials: Pictures of Ganesh Man singh, word cards and sentence cards

 

3.Teaching Learning Activities:

Engage

• Ask about some present political leaders of our country and ask them to tell their name.

 

• Ask background questions related to Ganesh man Singh showing his photos like: Do you know this man in the photo? Who is he? Why was he renowned?

 

• Provide time for the students to guess the title

 

Study

• Ask students to read the specified paragraphs of the text and make them to underline the new words.

 

• Let them guess the meaning of underlined new words. And clarifies the meaning of those words with correct pronunciation by using words cards.

 

• Teacher teaches the given paragraph by using words/ sentences cards by making students active participation in learning.

 

Activate

• Ask the students to read the text individually and make them to pronounce the new words correctly and provide immediate feedback if they can't.

 

 

• Ask few open ended questions based on the given paragraphs.

 

• At last if needed provide feedback to the topic and end the class
