The constitution of Nepal recognizes Nepal a cultural, multi-ethnic democratic country.Cultural diversity is one of the most significant components of our world heritage. The culture of Nepal includes the codes of manners, dress, language, rituals, norms of behaviour, and system of belief. In our country Nepal, every aspect of life, food, clothing, and even occupations are culturally guided.
We have freedom for following any religion we like. At feast and festival we enjoy much. Nepal is a small country but there is diversity in population distribution. There are 101 ethnic and caste groups. There isn't any violence for religion in the name of religion in our country Nepal. More than 92 varieties of languages which are spoken all over Nepal. They have their own life styles. We can see Nepales people wearing different dresses. They have their own way" celebrating feasts and festivals. Though there is diversity in religion, caste, language , etc. We can see unity between or among Neppalese peoples. There is diversity in our cultural heritage. There is dive in language use, clothing and fooding in our culture.
Due to this diversity of our culture, many foreigners visit our country Nepal for their research work. They are attracted to Nepalese culture. If they visit Nepal, they can experience different values of Nepales society. We should pereserve our culture. We should only follow the good aspects of foreign culture. Education should teach us to respect the other and recognize varied identities and the richness of liguistic diversity.
