109. War and Peace

War is not good thing. It breaks out from a quarrel between two groups of a nation or two nations. When the two parties of the same nation fight with each other, it is called a civil war. War presents a horrible scene in the society or in the battlefield. Many people lose their parts of body (arms/legs/eye etc.), some are seriously wounded and many of them meet death. In a modern war, factories, schools, crops, temples, hospitals, roads, cities and buildings are destroyed. It is the great loss to the nation. Innocent men, women and children lose their lives when the cities are bombarded.

There are many causes of being a war. The wrong political action, corruption, traditionalism and ban over the rights of the citizens are some main cause for breaking out the war. In the past people used to fight with arrows, bows, shower, knives. But people fight with the help of guns, bayonets, cannon, tanks, bombs etc. in the modern time. They are the fatal things for destruction. Commerce and trade can not be carried on during the time of war. A treaty only can stop the war. The two great wars are the example of destruction.

Every one needs peace in this time because innocent men, women and children lose their lives, when cities are bombarded. commerce and trade cannot be run on during the time of war. Many nations of the world, large and small, joined together and established the league of Nations after the second world war since its establishment has been it tring to stop the war and bring peace. But the great power of the world are not sincerely supporting to the purpose of U.N. all the nations understood others effects there would be peace itself. It is the duty of all human beings. Then, only there wl be the preservation of the world.

In the past, Hitler and Mussolini made much of war. They looked upon war as a game which led the countries to ruin. People used to fight for life, power, prestige and property. In the olden days the woman was often the cause of war but later on, it centered round a political or economic motive.

Man is not cent percent good. There are some evils in him that drive him to fight. Some fight for interest. Some for fun and some by force. Man has to struggle for existence. It is the law of nature that the strong rides over the weak. Lets hope the generations to come will find war in encyclopedia but not in their real life.
